The purposes of the Association established are:
Providing a compassionate learning environment to all people
Providing quality programs that meet the changing needs of the community
Embracing the spirit of partnership with other providers and interest groups
Murray Adult & Community Education (Murray ACE) is a community owned not for profit learning centre providing relevant courses for the regional community since 1984.
The organisation is managed by a committee of management who meet bi-monthly. Their role is to direct policy, provide financial and management and leadership. Day-to-day management is carried out by a Centre Manager.
Murray ACE Swan Hill Inc was awarded a grant from the Federal Government under the
Investing in Community Education and Training (ICET) program to refurbish and extend the original building. Upgraded facilities completed in 2010 enable Murray ACE to deliver a more extensive and relevant program.
Dowling House Inc. Registered No. ASN A0000887K. Name changed January 1991 to Dowling House Inc. Name changed 9 May 2001 to Murray Adult and Community Education – Swan Hill Inc.
Murray ACE is registered on the VRQA State Register which comprises of VRQA-registered education and training providers & the accredited courses and qualifications they deliver.

Murray ACE follows the Australian Qualifications Framework guidelines for its delivered courses.
The AQF is the national policy for regulated qualifications in Australian education and training. It incorporates the qualifications from each education and training sector into a single comprehensive national qualifications framework.
